
Thomas Goines
Academy SC - Director
Thomas is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana where he met his wife, Melissa. During his 12-year college coaching career, he took a position with Barton College that brought him to Wilson, NC. He has coached competitively for over 25 years and holds a USYF Level 3 Badge, Premier Diploma (USCA), and has served as the Director of Coaching for Wilson Youth Soccer Association. His passion for player development comes from years of experience, travel abroad, and relationships with top professional academies inside the USA and internationally. He currently serves as the Operations and Communication Manager of Forms Academy.
Bubba Delgado
Academy SC - Director
Bubba comes to the Wilson soccer community via Tucson, AZ. He has served his country in the US Air Force Reserve for the past 11 years prior to his move to North Carolina with his wife, Kandy, and three children. He currently works with WYSA as a team coach for the 2017 girls. Along with his 16 years of coaching experience, he is a former D1 college athlete and holds a USSF B License. Bubba currently serves as the Director of Coaching for Mas Futsal (Raleigh, NC), along with being a co-founder of 520 Futsal (Tucson, AZ). As two of his three children are playing in WYSA, he is excited to bring both futsal and advanced soccer training to the Wilson community for athletes for years to come.

Scott Suggs
Academy SC - Coach
Scott Suggs brings a passion for technical development to his role as a Coach with Academy SC. He holds multiple coaching certifications, including the USSF D license, the USYF Level 2 Futsal coaching certificate, and the USCA 9v9 Coaching Diploma.
Scott has been a Youth Academy Coach for the past three years and previously coached recreational soccer for six years. A former high school player himself, Scott combines his playing background with a deep commitment to helping young athletes grow—not just in their technical ability, but in confidence and character.
In addition to coaching, Scott is an experienced soccer referee with eight years officiating youth, college, and adult matches. His well-rounded perspective on the game supports his mission to create a fun, challenging, and respectful learning environment for all players.
When not on the soccer field Scott works as a Business Intelligence Analyst for a local health system. He has an MBA from East Carolina University. He is married to Ashley and has 3 kids that play multiple sports.

Dillon Everette
Academy SC - Coach
Dillon is a true "Wilsonite", attending both Fike HS and Barton College. She was a standout high school athlete winning conference all four years at Fike. She continued on to play at Barton College, being named MVP in her senior season. After a stint as an assistant coach for Barton College women's soccer, she focused on her professional career in the pharmaceutical industry. She has coached at all levels for Wilson Rec and now is on staff at WYSA. Off the field she loves spending time with her husband and two awesome kids, Grayson and Morgan.
